Pros
Big company with small company values. Executive management really believes in the company and the senior leaders are inspiring, motivational and fun to work with. Employees genuinely seem to like each other, especially in the management ranks.
Kontras
Silos. Leadership says they're different from the other large PR agencies, i.e. better cooperation, less competition between P&L's, faster decision making, less politics--but in reality Edelman is no different from any other large global PR firm. Edelman is somewhat conservative and buttoned up. Many people have been there a very, very, very long time and seem reluctant to do things differently, especially if the change is suggested by or reflected in the actions of a new employee.
