Many talented ETS employees with as much as 30 years' experience have been laid off in favor of inexperienced outsourced staff leading to a severe decline in quality. Due to their lack of industry experience, C-suite management have made questionable decisions that in some cases have led to the loss of decades old relationships. Their actions appear to be more of a preparation to sell off the company than to create sustainability. Unethical and mediocre VPs and middle management are glorified "Yes men" who run their departments using intimidation in lieu of knowledge. It is not uncommon for them to take credit for the hard work of their direct reports. Cronyism is widespread within the organization. Career advancement is unattainable.
