The company has clear guidelines for everything, paths for escalation, hierarchy, etc. There is a well-defined skill matrix that is constantly being updated with new requirements and technology. If you want to progress your career, there is a path to excellence.
Kontras
The company is extremely hesitant to provide anything that benefits the employee without directly benefiting the company as well. While the career path is clear, it was a big problem to find a project to obtain the necessary applied experience to progress on it. After extensive back-and-forth about salary increase the one argument that finally worked is me saying that I'll have to leave the company otherwise.
