Pros
Management was caring & considerate of personal individuals needs, most of the time. Afterwork events were catered and it was nice getting to know coworkers outside of work. Most of the staff were amazing kind people. Was able to build a successful career out of what was thrown at me while working at Dynatron.
Kontras
No credit was received when ideas and recommendations were offered to management. Typically a month later management would bring up your original idea in a group meeting and absolutely no credit would be giving to you. I thought I was going crazy after about the fourth time it happened. Low and behold, another employee came to me and told me out of the blue that they weren't going to give management another single idea or recommendation. As management would always take all the credit for their own ideas. It was hard to hear but it was nice to know I wasn't the only person being gaslit. Constant micromanaging from every level of staff. Weekly meetings were demeaning to say the least. Metrics were unobtainable and you felt like your job was in constant jeopardy. Workplace issues fell on deaf ears and in return we received constant criticism. The position itself was understaffed and new hires came a left quickly. Leaving the data entry team to constantly "pick up the slack". Instead of trying to fix internal strains and workplace exhaustion, management and HR wrote up a new job ad for the role and added "must be able to take criticism" within the job description. I've read thousands of job ad's and never have I once read "must be able to take criticism" within a ad. It truly felt like a slap in the face to the data entry team. Lastly, they kept on an employee who would intentionally go out of there way to make you feel inferior and would take any chance to belittle you. Which was one of the major reasons why I left. I have no clue as to why some companies would continue to have such a toxic member on staff who makes work-life so miserable for everyone around them instead of just firing them.
