They take risks on people, which is great if you are looking for a new career or to garner new skills, but they have taken a lot of risks on internal management and it hasn’t paid off. Treat it as such and you won’t find yourself years down the road pigeon-holed into a very specific niche within pharma. After having fears of regressing professionally I decided to leave, and am very glad I did, as those fears were confirmed after starting a role with a much more professional company. Treat DrugDev for what it is, a temporary 1-2 year stepping stone, and you won’t be disappointed.
