      Pros

      CEO was supper nice and friendly. All the PM were wonderful to work with. Outside accounting I have no issues.

      Internal processes were a joke. There was no proper training. If you were trained incorrectly that was blamed on you for not magically knowing how to do it. I was brought in to help make changes to process that were old and outdated and was instead made to feel like I was a failure. Lied to daily about why no changes could be made. Made to do busy work that did not affect or benefit my job in any way. Was bullied and harassed constantly my accounting management. Brought it up to HR who seems clueless and when they brought it up to accounting managers I was retaliated against.

      Pros

      There are great people who work for Dowbuilt and who have strong values and passion for building amazing homes. Because it is a large company, there is a fair amount of support on the back end. Systems are established for document management, organization and processes.

      Kontras

      I can't recommend working for Dowbuilt in Los Angeles in project management. Leadership is sorely lacking in this region. Passion, hard work and experience are not valued as much as 'optics'. This office does not offer an environment where you can speak up about issues or problems with a project. If you do, you may find yourself removed from a project or cast aside.
