Pros
Dogeared recently became a B-corp which means they have a high standard for treating employees and they have to use recycled packing materials and generally be good citizens. (Google B-corp for more info) Management really prides itself on this do-good attitude and tries to accommodate employees. Fair vacation and time off and they recently added healthcare and 401K was in the works when I left.
Kontras
There's a tangible corporate culture that might not be a good fit for some. It's not like working for an indie jewelry designer, this place is big, they own two office buildings in an office park with around 100 employees. You have to be comfortable using words like "Karma" without cringing, going to mandatory meetings where a "karma angel" is chosen. Meanwhile, as a new employee I did not feel welcomed at all by other employees because they were stressed out.
