-Not all teams have good work culture. Being SDET in particular sucks. There are emails from release managers/on call person on every Saturday/Sunday asking you to investigate failures. Work life balance is poor and lot of folks being in their first job or without family commitments seem to be fine with it. SDET management is political and condescending. There is favoritism, lack of transparency. It seems that equally bad both Seattle and SF.
