DocMagic embodies the very definition of a Dictatorship. "...a single leader or group of leaders with no toleration for political pluralism...taking advantage of their strong personality, usually by suppressing freedom of thought and speech of the masses, in order to maintain complete political and social supremacy..." In this case the Leader of this company embodies this mind set. There are no collective groups of management teams given freedoms to run their departments. Every decision gets bottle-necked to the point where you wonder why He employs anyone at all. Common themes are bullying, selective favoritism, toxic culture and management by fear. The thought that "He who signs your paychecks can treat you however He wants" is enabled by the very entity meant to protect employees. No one trusts HR, His second in command screens every email that's sent to his inbox and when someone voices a true concern it's swept under the rug. "He is who He is…just try to be more of a yes man.” The narcissism is so on point that while key players and newer employees keep leaving the company, it won't cross His mind for a second that maybe He had a role in the mass departures. If you decide to work for this company, your story will most likely include: (Note: I had direct Managers that were amazing. The below all stems from the Supreme Leader) 1. No work life balance 2. The receptionist being asked to spy on you via security cameras 3. Constant Gossip - Hope you don't get added to the "you can’t sit with us" list 4. More concern over the number of actual minutes worked that the work itself 5. Lack of communication 6. No freedom of thought or constructive criticism 7. No show for meetings - No respect for your time 8. Double Standards - No leading by example 9. Verbally demeaning confrontations 10. Lying, deflecting, denial driven email communications 11. Manic behavior 12. Suppression of freedom of speech by attempting to get employees to sign an NDA that forbids them from posting reviews like this one on Glassdoor. 13. Resistant to change, severe trust issues 14. Lack of resources in most departments, from automation efficiencies to physical headcount 15. Suppression of overall employee moral The mistreatment of people that I witnessed both first and second hand at this company is inexcusable. None of this review is exaggerated, this is reality at DocMagic. It's truly sad - great technology, great solution, but no appreciation or empathy for the people that keep His company afloat. Unfortunately, none of this will change if the Leader remains in power. *For those considering employment here - move on, you Will find better. *For those He's made believe they can't do any better. YOU BE THE CHANGE. You are what makes this company sustainable. Removing yourselves from the toxicity that is DocMagic is the best statement you can make.
