People are nice to work with. There is a comradery, but mostly because of the shared misery. There are well meaning people who want to make things better but are not allowed.
Kontras
Turnover is very high. People are fleeing in droves. There are zero dollars allocated for training and development. There is no career path. Innovation and new ideas are stifled by management who would rather maintain the status quo. Morale is at an all time low. IT dictates policy to the the business, instead of the business driving decisions and IT facilitating the success of the business, (you know, like what happens in thriving organizations.)
