Pros

Open work environment, but that is also a negative.

Project management does not consider staffing resources. They make project schedules just based on the work that comes in and what the client wants for time constraints. They have deadlines everyday, twice a day. Lots of overtime is required because management doesn't recognize what resources are available. Often 12 - 14 hour days. Partners get angry and explosive. Their reactions are surprising and at one time scary. It is an employee revolving door. Can't keep a mechanical department head because upper management won't accept the problems they have. Chris Larson is not the CEO. He sold the company to the few that are running it now.

Pros

Highly collaborative, great culture where you are allowed to be your authentic self. Great work flexibility and perks. Getting ready to have our March Madness Tourney where all employees come into town to have a great time!

Smaller firm which is going through growing pains, so still working on processes, procedures, etc..

Great people. Flexible and friendly work environment. Good compensation and lots of extra employee perks.

Kontras

A lot of recent turmoil with company leadership but is being addressed l believe. Project managers, for the most part, are not engineers or do not have previous design experience so sometimes agreements are made to clients that put undue pressure on design staff.
