Great people. Excellent new business opportunities and AI product direction. New leadership are experienced and deeply connected in silicon valley. Engineers are pushed to produce but given autonomy and interesting work.

Management moves very rapid with good results but also some mistakes. Top leaders most certainly know what they are about but for employees the direction is sometimes a surprise because not adequately written and communicated. It is hard for us on the team to feel energy and enthusiasm if not better included.

The core Dgraph software is incredible - customer regularly thank us for building such a great product. We have a vibrant open source community and companies large and small are reaching out to us daily about our paid version. Graph database space and Graph QL space is growing fast and Dgraph has the best technology. Dgraph has a great start-up atmosphere were everyone is super smart and as helpful as they can possibly be. This is a fast moving culture where we never settle. We constantly think about how every aspect of the business can be improved. Dgraph salary and benefits are best in class.

I mentioned that this company is a rocketship with a great team, software, pay and benefits. The culture is being modeled after Netflix where if you can upgrade any given team member you have to do it. This isn't a con per se because it gives you a team of A players but it's something to be aware of ahead of time. If this isn't something you're comfortable with then Dgraph probably isn't the spot for you.
