Pros

Great company culture where you actually feel like part of a team, not just someone handed off to a client. There’s good support from both the internal team and the client side. Communication is open, people are friendly, and you always feel like your voice matters. It’s clear they care about creating a positive work environment.

Kontras

Most roles are tied to specific projects, so if a project ends, there’s a chance you might need to wait for the next one. The company does try to find something new for you, but the uncertainty can be a bit stressful at times.

My experience with Devox has been extremely disappointing, and I strongly advise against working with them. Failure to Pay & Lack of Responsibility Devox completely failed to uphold their financial commitments. Despite completing the agreed-upon work, they refused to pay, claiming that their client decided not to pay them. This is entirely their responsibility, not mine—a professional company should manage its own finances instead of shifting risks onto employees or contractors. If they choose to work with unreliable clients, that should not affect the people who actually deliver the work. To make matters worse, they made performance-related excuses after the fact, which seemed like a desperate attempt to avoid their obligations. If there were real concerns about performance, they should have raised them earlier—not after it was time to pay. Excessive Overtime & Exploitation Overtime is a constant issue at Devox. They will squeeze as much as possible from you with no regard for work-life balance. Expect long hours and constant pressure to do more, even if it means burning yourself out. Toxic Micromanagement The level of micromanagement at Devox is exhausting. Every single task is tracked in detail, and if there is no visible progress for even a day, they will immediately start questioning you. There is no trust in employees—just relentless monitoring and pressure. Final Verdict Devox is a company that prioritizes squeezing maximum effort from employees while refusing to take responsibility for their own obligations. If you value fair treatment, professionalism, and financial security, stay far away from them. Would not recommend to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

We take these claims seriously. Our records show that during your time with Devox, you were paid according to approved hours, and there were no issues raised then. We can’t process payment for work that wasn’t completed or accepted under the contract. Overtime at Devox is not the norm and must be pre-approved; it’s tracked in our time-tracking systems and compensated according to contract and local law. e value autonomy and outcome-based work. Detailed task tracking is introduced only when there are sustained performance concerns or missed deadlines, to reduce delivery risk and provide support - not to micromanage. Trust is reassessed only in cases where there is substantiated evidence of misconduct—for example, submitting falsified documents to justify unfulfilled work obligations (as you did) - which may constitute violations of applicable law. We take obligations seriously. Devox Software strictly enforces contractual terms and working agreements, and we do not tolerate any misconduct - including attempts to justify non-performance by violating applicable laws. Payments and responsibilities are handled in line with signed contracts, documented deliverables, and local regulations.
