-Remote work life is simply not for everyone. If you value the trappings of a traditional workspace and culture, please feel free to ask what equivalent (if any) we have at Designlab if you're in the interview room. -On that note, asynchronicity is oftentimes the default. It will likely become more so as the team expands and our global community comes to include those in even more timezones. This scheme is also not for everyone. That being said, there are a number of regularly-scheduled meetings and plenty of structure. -For some, there can be an "app learning curve". While many of the tools we use (Slack, Asana, Airtable) are the usual suspects at a startup, accommodating everything at once could be overwhelming at first if you come from a different workplace background or a team that used other means of communicating, PM'ing, or data storage.
