Pros

I like the direction the company is going. Management has weeded out some bad apples, which you can see their reviews here. There is a reason why they are no longer employed at Datatrend, hence their bad reviews. We needed a more positive environment and this was a good start. The company has great benefits and promotes hard working employees from within.

Kontras

Management was slow to react to issues in the past, this has since been rectified with new management at the helm. I wish healthcare premiums were lower, but I think that is across the board at all employers. Thank you big government!

You get a paycheck on friday, if they don't fire you first.

I'm working as a sub-contractor on a Datatrend project. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. We had a guy literally fall out in the floor this week. He told me he had worked 22 days straight of 12-14 hour days, with 1 day off. These guys expect us to work from 9:00 till midnight, then be on call the rest of the night. Decent money only because of the ridiculous amount of hours. And, we're in a data-center in a makeshift work area, so working sitting in a cold environment, sitting in a hardback chair at a folding table for 12-14 hours each day. It's absolutely horrible. Oh, and let's not forget the "I'll fire you if you don't produce xxx amount of work a day" threats we regularly get.
