I just wanted to explain my view about this company. I have been working in the industry for the last 20 years and I have seen many companies’ culture and organizational restructuring. The CEO of any company never wants to fire/layoff the employees. This is a very hard decision to make to align the company with current business demands and it saves hundreds of jobs or prevents the company from going into bankruptcy. Employees think running the company is very easy and everybody should be able to keep their jobs even though the business environment is not in favor. That is not the reality. I strongly believe the CEO of DSI doing a wonderful job with his incredible leadership and innovation of new products and focusing on the new market to win new customers. Astoundingly, a fact about DSI is they always invest/invent on new products and ideas and that is why this company is so special. The CEO of this company is a very down-to-earth person. I am sure DSI will continue to shine in the market for many, many years to come. That would help existing and future employees grow with this great company and with this great leadership team. As employees, do we think for one moment how much we care about the companies we serve? Maybe not. We might think every day “When will I get promoted?” or “When will I get the next raise of my salary?” or “How can I safely retire from the company?” This company is great and I believe it is going in the right direction.
