Parts of the management does not have it together, they do not understand the topics in their own department or institute. They go all in fighting about positions and research funding distribution with other heads of institute instead of developing a long term plan for the own institute. Management demands respect for their position instead of delivering and earning respect for their own performance. No chance to grow. One has to leave after three to four years to be able to further grow.
