People are well paid and pay is reviewed annually against the market. The people who have been at DIRECTV for years are like family. They don't always get along but they're still family.
Kontras
The layoffs have been targeted at individuals, many of whom should not have been laid off. They were the heart and soul of the organization but were no longer a cultural fit. New people are not provided any kind of support from current employees or leaders. Everyone is in it for themselves and not their to help anyone because everyone is concerned about more layoffs and how it will affect them. Growth is available for the favorites. Leadership says one thing and does another.
