Pros
Good for an introduction to professional life. (Like IE is good for installing chrome) Stable environment, very organized. Some of the colleagues are cool, especially the young generations.
Kontras
Managers are living in the 80s, having an old school mindset. They once sent us an email telling us we are not allowed to open facebook, youtube or skype at office. Decisions takes too long and needs to be validated with several layers (a la francaise) Lake of transparency, they makes you feel like every thing is top secret. Lake of trust, they makes you feel like your are watched out, this goes for every detail (like where you have spent the last vacation, what connections you added in linkedin and so on) They are holding developers down and don't give them the opportunity to evolve, unless they are really obliged to. They don't care (at all) about your life/career, all what they do care about is their clients and making more money (but they keep saying the opposite which makes things even worst) Technologies used for some projects are really outdated (like SVN) Your salary will not evolve according to your work quality/implication, is only related to how much they need you in the next year. In order to keep employees from resignation, instead of providing them a good working environment and remuneration, they choose to make them sign a commitment stating that they must work with them at least 2 years otherwise they'll have to pay them money for each missing day. They make you feel like they are giving you a favor by hiring you and saving you from unemployment. They pay the minimum possible salary enough for making you stay.
