Pros
As with any startup, CtrlShift offers a very rapid learning curve, complete ownership of your work, with minimum micromanagement. The survivors are only the people with a very high do:say ratio. A great place for folks who are looking to hone their entrepreneurial skills, develop a strategic mindset, and build something out of minimum funds and resources. As the company is almost everywhere in South East Asia, if one is involved in the right projects, one can get high visibility in the region. If learning is your primary goal at the stage you are are, CtrlShift is the place.
Kontras
A rapid learning curve may translate into high stress, complete ownership into very long work hours, and no micromanagement will need people to become more strategic and rise above everyday operational challenges irrespective of their level. All these combined with scarce resources and multiple level of approvals to get them, can make it tough to go on. The errors which cost company money are taken seriously, and if repeated, can cause significant stress. This is only a place for high achievers to build/hone their skills, with not very great pay - making it like a university.
