PTO plans are generous, but when you're not on PTO you are expected to be available 24/7. - Partners and Directors have a lot of autonomy with how they run their teams, which can be a good thing if they're a good manager. But my experience was a team with a toxic, dictatorial dynamic where open and honest discussions were actively discouraged, often at the expense of doing good work. Loyalty was valued more than competence on my team, which was reflected in an extremely high turnover rate.
