Free insurance is trash. Not even the owner takes advantage, he pays. I know for a fact. He is VERY slow to pay out commissions and it’s not the full amount. If they offer you a vehicle allowance DON’T accept that. He has no integrity, is dishonest, and lies. He lies so much he believes what he says both to employees and customers. He will talk negatively about employees behind their backs, gaslighting individuals. He causes conflict and when employees try to fix the problem among themselves and call him out he will avoid. He’s an avoider and his defense mechanism is to ignore you completely. You’re in a 90 day review and his “advisor” is a joke. They will write you up for invalid reasons and not tell you. The advisor only collects a check and is fake as they come. He thinks HE runs the show and has absolutely no oilfield sales experience or background. He’s never been in the field and doesn’t understand the customer base. If you’re a seasoned sales rep this is NOT the place for you. His idea of training is you watching a 2 minute 70s video and talk about it and it only pertains to 1 person. If you’re new to sales and want experience….please save yourself and find another company. He asks the same 2 boring redundant questions every week. The honest review left was obviously Cameron. Once you know him, you know. Restaurant options, fishing come on guy. I couldn’t stop laughing at the idiocy. Now to wait for his equity comical rebuttal. Through all the verbal and mental abuse I endured there all I can do now is laugh. I pray for those who are currently suffering in the Croft cycle of abuse.

Thank you for spending the time writing this review. We hate to hear that you felt not one part of the company was positive. We would like to respond and hopefully get some clarification across some of the points that were made in your review. We do offer insurance benefits 100% paid for health, dental, and vision and yes, the owner does participate in this. Some of the positions at CROFT are base + commission which commissions are sent out based on the quarterly books being closed. So, there may be a grace period depending on variables such as client payments. Regarding training we do try to mix it up in order to have the best comprehensive training possible the first year a salesperson is here they will go through 160+ hours of training. We understand this is a technical field with multiple products and services and like to arm our staff with great information to give the best assistance to clients. Our team is excited that we are creating a new training program that can adapt to increase the learning curve. Now we know sales is hard rejection and communication that is why we try to build a proper support system. The advisor was brought in as a resource to the sales and marketing team because he has over 30 years of sales experience and with that experience can help guide through some of the mental issues that you mentioned. When you stated "writing you up for invalid reasons" we try to be as transparent as possible. We have weekly meetings with the team where the staff reports their own Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) two big ones are how many proposals did you bring in? and how many contracts do you close? If those goals are not being completed then we start looking at activity how many phone calls, emails, response time with clients, etc. Then we also have a one-on-one weekly like you mentioned where we do check in and talk about challenges and what strategies we can change to improve KPIs. After several months of reported low numbers, action items that are not being completed and then client complaints of miscommunication you have to make a change. Best of luck to you!

Where to start? Lets get the main problem out the way. The owner is an act. His whole personality is performative. He preaches “values” but is a huge hypocrite and very toxic. He can and will smile in your face then plot your downfall. I had a perfect 4 year run at this company, the minute I didn’t turn over for him I was out. He will respond to this with some “nice guy” stuff, try to save face. Do not believe anything they tell you. Alot of people here compromise themselves for a dollar. I lost alot of respect for people I once looked up to at this company. This place is honestly a snake’s den.
