They train you well before they send you on your own. You will ride with an experienced field tech for several months of intensive learning prior to working on your own. Once you become proficient you will be eligible for overtime and performance bonuses.

There are times when they get super busy and you have to work overtime. While getting time and half is great, the time away from family is not.

Chances of advancement are slim, may work 6 days for months on end and long days as most management positions are in this industry. Pays off in the end for the experience gained being a supervisor
