It is responsible in part for four of the greatest life changing inventions in history, the electric light bulb, TV, fiber optics and flat screen display. It pays attention to its employees and views them as an essential asset to their success. Great environment for a workaholic.

The company is subject to frequent wide swings in its performance leading to periodic layoffs, followed by a fast ramp up usually within one year. In my quarter century with them, I experienced 9 of these events. You had better be a workaholic to work here.
