Pros

The only positive thing I could find while briefly employed at Corepower Yoga as part of the Studio Experience Team (SET) is that you get a discounted membership. Read more about that below in the Cons... I went in for orientation on a Wednesday, gave the conditions of the employment more thought over the weekend, and quit on Monday.

Kontras

DISCOUNTED Membership. All yoga studios I've worked for (I've worked at 3 non-Corepower Yoga studios), offer free unlimited yoga to their employees. As a part of SET for Corepower Yoga, you get an employee discounted rate of $90 for unlimited yoga. You are paid $10 an hour and locked into a weekly shift that is 1.5 hours - which is not awful, right? Well, the only way you can work more hours is if you are covering for someone (as opposed to picking up extra shifts) and, even then, you can work a maximum of 4.5 hours a week. Do the math before taxes: that means you will make $60 a month, leaving you to pay $30 out of pocket for your membership. Not only are they paying you a meager wage, they also make money off of you working for them!

Pros

Task oriented work that goes quick

Kontras

It does take fairly high effort to do a good job and some people don’t like that unfortunately
