Good place to gain experience but more of a stepping stone into big pharma than a place to stay. - Mitarbeiter (anonym) bei CoreLab Partners: Mitarbeiterbewertung

Pros

Good place to gain Clin Ops experience and network with people from Big Pharm. Young overall workforce with lots of good, fun people so it can be an enjoyable place to work at times. Good benefits, lots of paid time off.

Kontras

Low pay relative to the industry and for the workload that is expected, poor inexperienced managers overwhelmed by workload, resulting in high turnover and employees moving into roles in which they are not qualified or prepared. Lots of internal politics. Promotions are based more on who you know and who a managers favorite is rather than who is the best for the job. Some managers promote their teams quickly and some take forever so if you get on a team with a Project Manager that promotes slowly, your advancement will be severely stunted. Senior Management does not communicate with nor seem to care about the people under them. They consistently overwhelm teams with work and long hours are expected to be worked week in and week out. If you are salaried you aren't compensated for these long hours. Senior management's lack of appreciation for mid-level employees ends up alienating those who shoulder the majority of the daily work load.

Pros

Young company. Laxed corporate environment. Fast promotions. Relatively easy scope of work. Networking opportunities to Big Pharma. Benefits are ok. Vacation time is never an issue.

Kontras

High turnover results in inexperienced employees at each position throughout the company. Most managers lack managerial skills and are too overwhelmed to care about employees. Senior management is too young and immature. Cliques are formed rather than quickly. Long hours are expected and are the norm, not the exception. Promotions are more about who you know than qualifications and if the person is ready for the position. Poor pay for amount of studies/tasks responsible at every level except entry level. Senior management does not care if you are overwhelmed they'll just keep on giving more work even if quality of work suffers then question why work suffers. Poor training for new roles/systems. Extremely poor technology, instead of outsourcing to experts the company relies on quick fixes from internal IS department. Poor integration between systems. Directors of departments point fingers rather than work as a team to fix issues. Low company morale. Sense that the company is not doing well and is always about to go under without any updates on progress.
