Don’t buy the 5-star reviews – they’re deceptive. You are better off panhandling than working at Copperleaf. -Horrible culture: They talk the talk about how great their culture is (basically, shameless self-marketing is the only thing Copperleaf excels at - hence their growth rate) but the way they treat people speaks of the opposite. The culture is artificial, awkward and forced, and employees are being treated as garbage (behind closed doors, so as not to perturb the carefully constructed fake image). -Promotion of incompetence: They promote people without experience, relevant education or merit, based solely on personality, nepotism and self-serving talk. -Cliquey and unfriendly: Hiring decisions based on internal referrals of unqualified people (friends and relatives) have created social cliques that poison the environment.
