I am still awaiting full payment for an invoice due May/June 2024. I have chased this numerous times with numerous people at Contents, with no response.
I have been sent a small partial payment, with no explanation about where the rest of the money is. They still owe me around 2,000 euros.
I know that partial payouts are used in some events (such as when a business is having financial difficulties), but the complete lack of transparency here is very disappointing.
Over the course of my contract with Contents, other payments were often delayed significantly. I had to chase payments multiple times before they were settled, which made me question the integrity of the business and those in senior positions.
Do not work for them if you are a freelancer - and, if you're a potential customer, consider whether you'd be comfortable doing business with a company that behaves this way.
