Pros
• Thorough training • JOB support (see “Cons” section)
Kontras
• Poor management unless it’s a TL (your shift manager) • No care for mental health (struggled to change my schedule after realizing that my overnight shift had started to take a major toll as a single mother, my TL only cared/a stand in TL came in and did not care.) • No care of physical health (i became extremely sick CONSTANTLY to the point that it sometimes required hospitalization) • Denied the back pay that was owed after they messed the checks up • Strict breaks and no understanding of being a single parent (they knew this and were completely supportive and different upon hire and for the next 2 years, i was there for 2 & 1/2) • PTO used to be free to use whenever, no matter what but they started denying on the grounds of “WE don’t have the PTO hours to give for that day”. (i had 20 hrs and requested 8 hrs three days before like standard so i could sleep before a major HEALTH appointment and was denied, still took off and missed my appointment due to getting a fever) • No grace period. ( 1 min over and youre late, it used to be a 5 minute grace period) just dont work here for nightshift if you value your health and mental :) i cant speak for dayshift.
