Management is very distant from other employees and generally disregard whatever issues you bring to them. Once they literally sent out a company wide email claiming "record profits for the year" and listed the millions of dollars gained and followed up within a week with a company email saying "due to the tough economy all raises and bonuses will be frozen this year".
