"Us vs. Them" attitude between departments is encouraged, bringing down morale. Fear of CEO's response to less-than-positive feedback makes upper management slow to acknowledge issues and take action, leaving lower management without necessary support. Opportunities for advancement are available, however working more closely with upper management does not feel like an "opportunity".
