Office politics is very messy and people are not rewarded based on talent or hard work If you are very smart, you are a potential threat to your bosses and will be overlooked for promotion/career advancement A lot of smart people left the company when I was there because several less worthy people were promoted at their expense You can get lucky if you find an influential boss to work for. Otherwise your quality or difficulty of work does not matter No training or investment in employee's personal growth whatsoever
