Some extremely poor department heads, rigid structure minimizes employee growth and minimizes the companies return on the investment made in personnel. In particular, the Accounting Department is seen as an advesary instead of team member due to failure to assist in developing good working relationships among departments. By not encouraging departments to share info on processes and responsibilities, Cooperation and assistance between department is reduced and working relationships are stressed.
