Pros
Superficially the salaries here were superior than other portuguese tech companies. Depending on the team, at least under that bubble things worked fine with good colleagues, supportive people, space for learning.
Kontras
Anything management related is a poisoned well since toxic people are allowed in the upper echelons of the company. Anything positive is negated by such management people. The fact that these people are allowed to scream and gaslight others in meetings and that the other peers are ok with it and validate such people just shows how rotten it all is. These people will act all friendly and supportive in your face but will happily carve a knife in your backs with no regrets. The cold layoffs of dozens of people not only burned lots of bridges with very high quality professionals but also with anyone that is still here. The mood got heavy by these decisions and all trust has been lost. Nobody expects the company to live much longer. The amount of new PR and marketing being heavily pushed around these times to wash the image of the company just feels wrong. It's also clear some people were mandated to write good reviews here so the company doesn't look so bad. It is bad. These reviews are not revenge reviews, they paint a picture of explicit reality. These are not the times to join this company, so think carefully about your choices if you are considering.
