Pros
I had a positive experience working here. My coworkers were incredibly supportive, which made for a great team environment. The PTO accrual was generous, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. I appreciated the high success rate for clients, largely due to the partnership with the Drug Court Program—it was rewarding to see the impact on clients’ lives. Additionally, having my own office provided a comfortable and productive workspace. Overall, it was a great place to grow and contribute.
Kontras
While I enjoyed my time with the organization, there were a few challenges. Since it’s a smaller non-profit, there wasn’t much room for growth or advancement. At times, interactions at HQ could feel somewhat argumentative, which occasionally impacted communication. Additionally, although I received my annual review on time, my raise was delayed by six months. They provided back pay, which I appreciated, but it would have been ideal to receive the increase when it was originally scheduled.
