Pros
The People - I love my team and colleagues - we have each others backs. If you asked me 10 years ago if I would work for a family business - I would have run in the opposite direction. I came to the interview thinking that it wouldn't be for me, but I'm several years on I'm still here and happy to be so. There's real heart in the business - you can see that when Matt Cannon gives his quarterly updates - the family are proud and that shines through. The Variety in my role - no two days are the same, I feel that I am rewarded fairly - although I wouldn't say no to a bit more. We're in a good place - we have a lot to be positive about. Every year our financial performance improves and it feels like a safe place to work. I appreciate the flexibility and I enjoy the mix of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. It gives me the best of both Worlds. Canteen on site and a nice working environment, plenty of parking and pretty views of the lake.
Kontras
The workload is a hectic and you can get overwhelmed with the volume. Although there has been signficant investment across the operations, it is a bit lacking in the central/support services who are seen as an overhead.
