Extreme micromanagement, the worst I’ve ever seen Very task heavy-no time for residents or family meetings to address concerns Staff is very underpaid compared to the demand leading to burnout and very high turnover Staffing is not great as far as ratios are concerned 2% raises for line staff. Way too low AA’s are grossly underpaid No work life balance I would not like to grow with this company . The demands FAR outweigh the benefits. There is no work life balance for the VPO’s and barely any for the ED’s and WD’s. They keep adding more and more tasks and it’s just gotten out of control and our side of the realm of being possible to do and still maintain mental health and time with family. It’s so sad. It could be so much better.

Pros

Working here was life-changing for me. The opportunities for growth, both professionally and personally, have been unmatched. The culture is rooted in having a passion for what we do in every effort that's rolled out. What stands out most is the incredible goodwill and authenticity of senior leadership. They lead with intention, and genuinely care about the people and the mission. It’s rare these days to find a workplace where you feel this seen, supported, and inspired like this.

Pros

Most of the corporate employees are very nice. Most corporate employees started in communities and know what it takes to work in the community.

Owners/execs will hire family and friends who are unqualified and overpaid. If you complain about these unqualified family members doing a bad job, you will be retaliated against. There is no work/life balance unless work is your life. If you are salary you will be expected to work more than 40 hours regularly with no comp time given. If they decide they want to get rid of you, they will start writing you up for things others get away with all of the time. No policies are enforced across all employees. If you get overwhelmed and ask for help you will likely not receive it unless you happen to work for one of the few great supervisors. Employees receive a very different experience at work depending on who they report to and what department they are in. There is no consistency. Pay for some positions is much higher than average, but most employees are underpaid. Especially if they have been there 8+ years. For line staff roles, you could make more and do less work working in fast food. Benefits are expensive and cover little. No 401k match. If you work at corporate then you get decent PTO, but if you are a community employee PTO is terrible too. Owner sends inappropriate political emails to employees and makes inappropriate comments about people based on their sexual orientation.
