Pros

Free food and drinks Among ops people you'll find very smart colleagues

Kontras

I do confirm that bullying is a practice there. There were comments on racism, toxic culture etc., all true. You can also expect intimidation and in theory you're invited to expect your voice but you'll get on the low "bell curve". Do what I say otherwise you are out and even if it is very dodgy. Investors should be really careful with this Company because the stories told to investors are far far away from the reality. Promotions : be ready to face political people and lies or people with a very selective memory who focus on the negative who won't hesitate to crush you and ignore that i) they did not set expectations and ii) all the workload you achieve and how you help them with very sensitive topics. In short the leaders dont support you getting the ressources you need to success in your job. This is a place where you need to survive and be reading to be manipulated, face lies and be trashed by some of your coworkers. Regarding review process, « the bell curve », it is just a pretext to lay off people. And the most dangerous fact is that they will make people think they underperform when people in fact were not set up for success, had unreasonable goals and were in fact achieving a lot of tasks. If you try to plant coffee in central park do you really think it will grow ? Think about that ! In short, they will give you insane goals and then tell you that you’re a failure. I do confirm the previous reviews : if you are women run away as far as you can : you will be patronised, and if you don't play the politics you won't be promoted even if you keep delivering, you will also get the bad girl if you don't align with their views and politic games. On the workload, the employees are constantly repeating in the survey that the workload is too high, you'll then receive an email : "as a manager did you recently ask your team how is the workload". Okay so no action is taken, and yes middle managers care about their team and ask but in reality no tool, ressources etc. is requested. Or if it is requested and examined, it is denied. On goals and expectations: the leaders just don’t listen and blame you for their own lack of attention, lack of clarity regarding expectation. Overall the pay vs the number of hours done is not great. It is a company that is largely underpaying employees given the number of working hours. If you want to work there you need to burry your integrity and don't expect humanity.

I really appreciate you sharing your feedback. It's concerning, and while I don't recognize this to be the culture of CKO, I want to understand more. Please contact me directly by email if you’re open to sharing your experience. -Kerry V. V. - Chief People Officer

Pros

Good salary, thats about it

Kontras

Toxic work culture, they want you to work from 6 am to 9pm. If you do not speak french or are not french you will feel like an outsider. Favoritism is big here, manager have their favorites and will feed them inbounds. Very hard to get approval to go to conferences, and there is no ROI, longer reps hold on to bigger name merchants for years even though they are not having any impact, and no one does anything about it.
