      10am start. flexibility and a comfortable approach to work

      A once very comfortable company to work for, Ceterna has now a left a very bitter taste in my mouth. just a few months ago the company had announced £5million in funding and for the past few months could not even pay employees on time. Sean also ignored emails and gave little to no communication on critical situations. Other things to note: - Had a very obvious blame culture coming right from the CEO Sean - Consulting processes were not followed and each senior seemed to have their own way of doing things - Staff retention was non existent - Lack of transparency all around - Claimed to be a customer centric company but often dismissed those same customers.

      We appreciate your feedback and we are sorry to hear about your experience. Over the past 6 months Ceterna has been undergoing a substantial transition and at times things may not have been as clear as they could. To be clear Sean has not had a formal role in Ceterna Group since May 2019 when Charlie assumed operational control, since then he has been assisting in a non exec capacity only. Our understanding is that where possible all known emails have been responded too and the Exec have been provided with advice regarding the investment and onward business plan.

      Pros

      Flexible management that understand when family or other issues come up Relaxed friendly environment to work in where we don't micromanage and have respect for eachother Team camradery and helping to collaborate to solve problems. This is helped by not having crazy util targets like most consultancies do Management believe in recognition and a praise culture and there have been a lot of new incentives brought in recently including perkbox. Start at 10am and finish at 6pm Work with clever people on interesting projects. I get to take my dog to work with me :)

      The only con for me is that I have to commute from Milton Keynes but as we start at 10am it's not so bad.
