Pros

Some Pros were : 1. Company purely stays on bleeding edge of technologies as they mention it on linkedin and interview calls. 2. Company keeps good food items and healthy lunch as well. 3. Once in a weekday, CTO takes employees for a friendly meeting in a cafeteria. 4. Good Salary. 5. Good Place to work. 6. Good Helpful Seniors.

Now stay tight for some ugly truth : 1. Good Reviews which are mentioned by the employees were forced them to write because CTO cannot see his reviews of what they really are. (As you can see some sentences are exactly, if you do not find similar sentences, they were changed, obviously). 2. For Freshers, it is not recommended, as CTO gives the toughest task to an employee in the beginning to test them for whether they can perform(survive) that task. 3. You have to report everyday personally to the CTO about the day task, which is good from CTO's point of view but very frustrating to employees. 4. CTO is the whole and sole of the company, if you change even single line of code, it needs to be reported to the CTO and if your work around was not so good, you are screwed. 5. Company's CTO monitors your every task during the day. (Similar to game : WATCH_DOGS) and even monitors your social life. If you add some post on linkedin and your work wasn't properly done, CTO directly points to your personal life and tortures you (including what you do on Saturday and Sunday). 6. For freshers, it is not very digestive in the beginning to stay on edge of the technology as they barely started their career. 7. If you are a part of the company and you are reading this, then you may have understood that doubts, problems and bugs should be identified and solved by you. If you ask about this to CTO as he always insists, then you are screwed. 8. CTO threatens more rather than guiding. 9. Task assigned to you, is also given with instructions to how to do it rather than using your brains. 10. Not only freshers, but even experience people are getting fired quickly from the company. No Job Security. 12. Personally, I loved when I joined however, this is what lies inside the company. Good Luck.

Firstly thanks for writing the review. I think this will be really helpful to people who are NOT a cultural fit can self-filter themselves. Clearly, you are disgruntled because things didn't work out. Okay, let us help clarify how much of this is true and fiction. 1. False. One of our employees discovered GlassDoor reviews and encouraged others to write reviews. We don't force people to do anything that is not our culture. In fact one of the first questions we ask in the interview process itself is. What would you like to do/work on? If we have something a candidate is looking for, we only move forward then. 2. False. There is a very structured on boarding process. We first get them used to our technology using a small test project. 3. True but that is what Agile development is. Everything doesn't work like it used to in college. You need to be prepared for things to work differently in the real world. 4. False. We are a small team. It's not as if a CTO of an MNC is reviewing code here. But we have a strong emphasis on code reviews and code quality. Every task is self-reviewed by the developer and one another engineer before getting to the CTO for a final review. This is a good thing. Can't help if your ego was hurt but we are running a professional institution here. 5. This is totally baseless. We encourage people to self-manage their deadlines and tasks. We are a very flat team in terms of hierarchy. There is a good work-life balance. Unlike other offices in India, we encourage people to leave early but have an absolute curfew by 8 PM. There is no one sitting till 10 or 11 just to show how hard they work. And we don't monitor anyone's personal network. Most of the management team members don't even try to connect with people unless they receive an invite first. But if you are going to add someone on LinkedIn they will receive your updates, that is just common sense and NOT us trying to keep tabs. 6. True, we don't have a typical MNC environment where you will get trained in a classroom and copy/paste code that others wrote. We are looking for people who are really fast at picking new things, hungry for growth and have a sound moral compass. 7. False again. There is ample help available but we expect people to be smart here. If something can found out spending a couple of minutes on Google why not. We expect people to be respectful of others time and put some effort to solve problems; if you love being spoon fed and what historical code snippets to copy/paste; this is not the organization for you. 8. No one is in a position to threaten anyone here. There are ample opportunities in the market and we appreciate our team members. We do give feedback when needed to keep improving things. 9. False. It's the opposite before anyone starts on the task we have an implementation discussion where the person doing the task, another team member and the CTO in question discuss things. Come up with a plan and then those implementation discussions are noted by the engineer doing the task before beginning. We put a lot of emphasis on architecture, design, and discussion as this avoids re-work. Everyone in the implementation meeting is encouraged to contribute to the architecture. Again this is not your college project where you decide something and start winging it. 10. People get fired at all levels at all companies. We don't carry dead weight. People who can't figure things out and are slow don't survive here. We are proud to say we have a team of "A" players and we intend to keep it that way. 11. I guess you missed 11 12. There is nothing to not love but after the honeymoon period you have to prove that you are here to solve problems for the team What you did here is ridiculously unprofessional but good luck to you. I would suggest working on the attitude and having a sense of loyalty to the team that truly took care of you while you were here; if you want to have a successful career. Unfortunately, you were not a good fit and good luck with your future endeavors.

Pros

There are many good reasons for why one should work here. The most important reason is the founder & managers of the CauseCode who made the working environment so friendly that an employee will feel comfortable working. They have an open office without dress code and are very helping in nature. Your smallest contribution is always appreciated and motivated. Suggestions are always welcome there and are incorporated if your suggestion improves the workflow in any way. If you are ready to take bigger responsibilities and if you are good at accomplishing them, it's a perfect place to start or shape your career. The another most important factor is that they are very practical and believe in facts. They understand each and every situation and work accordingly which makes your work life balance and doesn't ruin your personal life. Apart from it, if you want to work on latest technology stack, explore new things and work for some coolest project, go and join CauseCode. I worked there for 4 years with an Awesome experience and learned a lot (not just technologies) in there and from them. It was a very tough decision for me to left this Organization. For a client's perspective, the clients satisfaction & exceeding clients expectations are what differentiates CauseCode. They are passionate about product development and believe in pixel perfect work, design, and user experience.

Of course, there is some dark side of every good thing and there were few, which really has not mattered for me in those 4 years. If you face anything, I'm pretty sure that talking to them will rectify it.

Pros

As a fresher, I could not have asked for a better place to work at. The culture and work ethics are something that helps differentiate CauseCode as an organization. The employees are passionate about their work and are extremely hard working and helpful. A culture of continuous innovation and improved is followed here where teamwork plays a key role and all employees work together to bring out the best of each other. Overall, I couldn't have started my career at a better place!
