Pros

Even though I left a while ago, I still remember working at Cascade very fondly. The type of stuff we worked on via Intercom was always very rewarding and interesting. The customers are doing some very impressive things and it was nice to be able to be supportive of that. I liked the team a team a lot and I feel like it was a great place to start my career.

Kontras

I wish the team was bigger at that time so I could meet even more people, but I know that now it has grown a lot.

Pros

2023 was quite the year for Customer Success at Cascade. There were lots of changes and several new faces joined the team at both a leadership and IC level. The product is reasonably complex, which makes Customer Success'ing perhaps a little more challenging than a rull-of-the-mill SaaS company. However I think the company ackowledges this and has done a great job of laying the right foundations in terms of people and process for a successful 2024.

Kontras

As mentioned, the product is exciting but can be quite complex and is best suited to larger organizations that have a strong change management culture already in place. That isn't necessarily the case with every customer, and that can make the job of Customer Success at Cascade a challenge at times.
