Pros

- Had the opportunity to work with great people at the South Austin location. Our Business Office Manager, Dave Snow, hands down was the best boss ever. Business Office Associates at our store always celebrated "Boss Day" while he was our BOM. He was appreciated not just by Business Office, but other departments as well including Sales, Merchandizing and Operations. - Flexible hours for employees who were in school. - Tuition reimbursement program is the best. - Employee discount for retail and wholesale vehicle.

Kontras

- They do not care about their employees. I repeat, THEY DO NOT CARE! - They let our long-term BOM, Dave Snow, resign because he just couldn't take it anymore. He put in almost 10 hours a day shift, had to take over Sales Manager duties, had to take care of service issues after hours, and they took away ABOM position for satellite stores so the work load was immense for him. After he resigned, it was a total chaos! - The pay sucks. I worked there over 3 years and a half and my annual raises combined has barely reached $1. The annual raise usually ranges from $0.20-$0.35 for Business Office Associates. - The operating systems used to carry out daily business office tasks are out dated. The scanners at our store look like typewriters from 1800s. Once we had a scanner that was broken, and we had finally gotten a ticket to replace it, they sent over an old used scanner as a replacement that was worse than the first one.

Pros

Remote work, first 2 weeks of the 2 month training, offers sick time before PTO rolls in

Kontras

Little to no worklife balance, toxic positivity (like when they called the meeting about taking away our bonuses “exciting news” and tried to gaslight us as to why this was a good thing), extreme micromanagement, listening to our headsets constantly without us knowing, AI rating our metrics, unrealistic expectations, you basically do 4 jobs in one (at Carvana, appraisals / selling, financial applications and documents / EPUs, sales and customer service were ALL DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS.
