People will appreciate you if you pretend to have a supportive and positive attitude, even if you don't do any actual work at all. I actually notice people who hasn't been working for a project AT ALL for a year, somehow got promoted and someone who actually has billables and giving ACTUAL money to the firm didn't got promoted. Diversity is considered as people who have different skin colors but the same accent, mindset, and topics to talk about (as in they're born and bred in the same country so tell me what part of diversity is this?). People don't care with other cultures - they don't bother to try and get to know you as a person, even more your culture (unless you have contents that are LinkedIn-genic, then yes - they will want to know!). > Projects are all tech. For some reasons (that I didn't know until now) the leaders published another piece with the same topic that has far less quality than mine. Not a single appreciation was given to me - apart from a thank you note. Ever since this I couldn't be bothered to make an effort to be liked by the senior people by doing work.
