Company has an excellent environment of work life balance, In my work association with Capgemini I never find work pressure as compare to other indian IT companies. One good thing about this company is they are not strict about working hours, deliverables are important, wherein indian IT companies grill on working hours.
Kontras
Company has 3 months notice period, which makes a big hurdle for switching the organisation. Company adhere for notice period and generally does not negotiate unless one pulls a right Jack. Critical resources are always retained with better salary correction, whereas normal candidates are pushed to quite if they are no-more in use. Very poor in documentation and process management. Please dont keep any false hope of on-site, because some of their business units hardly have 1-2 months of onsite opportunity which is generally for business transition only given to senior candidates and only managers. Dont compare it with indian IT companies which atleast have good onsite opportunities and honestly provide it to candidates. Company is on expansion process, so joining salary and designation does matter, otherwise after 1 and 2 year keeping expectation with company is foolishness from salary and growth prespective unless you are critical in Team.
