Easy to access different positions with the customer if you have a low salary bandwith. You have internal education, medical insurance and other social benefits.

Kontras

Tendency to lower the base salaries instead of increasing. The personal efforts and capabilities are not well appreciated. Managing structure is more complex than the real productive work.

- Standard benefits - Depending on the team you're on, can be a relatively easygoing environment - Ample vacation time, generally readily approved

- Far, FAR below market wage - No yearly raises or even discussion. With inflation, I'm making less now than I did previously. - Zero room for advancement (see below) - You can be a superstar for the client but that translates into no actual benefits pay or promotion wise at Capgemini - they're entirely unrelated. - My manager basically forgot I exist for over a year which means no discussion about performance, promotion, raises, etc - Opaque processes around pay, promotion, etc - Come here if you want your career and paycheck to stagnate and die - Zero appreciation or acknowledgement from the Capgemini team with the client - there's no carrot and stick, just the stick. No real reason to go above and beyond.
