Pros

pay used to be good when i joined Aricent (flextronics), but all stds are coming down. work life balance

Kontras

Inefficient and incompetent managers and senior managers. though they are paid good but their contribution is very very less. some of them fit for nothing. they become mgrs/sr.mgrs just by hanging in there for years and buttering their supervisors.(even one more reason is that the strong regional/language feeling)

- Standard benefits - Depending on the team you're on, can be a relatively easygoing environment - Ample vacation time, generally readily approved

Kontras

- Far, FAR below market wage - No yearly raises or even discussion. With inflation, I'm making less now than I did previously. - Zero room for advancement (see below) - You can be a superstar for the client but that translates into no actual benefits pay or promotion wise at Capgemini - they're entirely unrelated. - My manager basically forgot I exist for over a year which means no discussion about performance, promotion, raises, etc - Opaque processes around pay, promotion, etc - Come here if you want your career and paycheck to stagnate and die - Zero appreciation or acknowledgement from the Capgemini team with the client - there's no carrot and stick, just the stick. No real reason to go above and beyond.
