Pros
Joining a startup means there's a lot of opportunity for growth, and CapIntel is no different. They will support you in taking initiatives and stepping out of your comfort zone, whether this means venturing into leadership, taking on more complex tasks, etc. They also offer a very collaborative environment where everyone has a voice and giving everyone a chance to bring ideas to the table. They also have a big focus on efficiency, making sure that your time is used as well as possible and that you're not swamped with superficial meetings. I truly believe that CapIntel's culture played a huge role in their success as an organization. Their Extreme Ownership values create a safe space where there's no pointing fingers, no shifting blame, and where everyone is purely focused on building the best product possible. Extreme Ownership also means that you're accountable whether things go wrong or right, which may not be for everyone - but as someone who likes to be impactful this suited me perfectly. The product is also super interesting and innovative in a lot of ways. Over the years I've had the chance to see and experience a lot of the feedback we received from clients, and it doesn't take long to see how much of an impact the platform has on their day-to-day. It also seems like leadership has a good understanding of where they're headed in the future, and that they want to keep being innovative in this industry.
Kontras
As of writing this, the company is still in the process of figuring out their growth, which can result in a somewhat chaotic environment at times. The different product squads are still being formed, the product isn't as stable as they would want it to be and the organization's structure is still changing. That being said, listing these as "cons" is a bit dishonest since these are normal challenges for a startup to go through and simply means they're trying to scale - but this sort of environment might not suit everyone.
