Note: Every time I update this I put that the position was full-time, but it gets posted as an intern. This is NOT correct. An absolute nightmare to work in operations. Management expects you to conform to pet peeves while running you to death for tasks over 3 levels of the building. Excellent environment for the scientists, where rules for laboratory cleanliness and safety aren't enforced because you can just clean up after them instead. Management is deplorable and extremely personally unrelatable. The position has supervisory responsibilities, but not with commiserate pay or title. All tasks must be completed without getting unapproved overtime (it's all unapproved, unless you're supposed to come in all weekend and move furnishings for quarterly floor waxing). Since I left, the position is now being billed on Craigslist as a "Lab Technician" in San Diego (try north La Jolla), and they don't advertise the company name anymore, probably so you can't research it here BEFORE you apply. The job description reads exactly the same as when I was hired, except for the pay range which is now even lower at $15/hr., and it wasn't worth it before! Absolutely no room for advancement in ops, a dead-end job.
