Management lack transparency to the lower ranks, this type of management style went out with the dinosaurs the current job market is way to robust to tolerate the negative and punitive actions that leadership has taken toward employees. Employees should be valued as an asset. The feeble band-aid approach of creating reward programs, lacks the ability to remedy the true issues that this culture has; which does not mirror the company's mission and vision.
