I overheard from a legal security coworker that secret layoffs are planned and they have a project name for it that will affect a few hundred people. He said CDW are also forcing vacations to be used so that they won't owe people money when they are let go. He said that the legal department has taken security away from coworker experience because they could do it better and because our human resources department had been investigated a year ago by an outside group for problems in the department. I am not sure who he was but I heard him say he lived in the city. When leaders speak in public about internal problems, it tells me we have some problems within our company. I was dining with another Director who also overheard him and he has been with the company for over a decade and was very saddened by how far the company has sunk in ethics.
